Dr Dan Allan grew up in country Victoria and after graduating school joined the Royal Australian Navy. After 7 years he switched to Dentistry, graduating from the University of Sydney in 2006 and continued working with the Navy as a general dentist.
Dr Dan Allan has a keen interest in oral surgery and trauma. In 2011 he completed a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry (Oral Surgery) at the University of WA and then consolidated these skills in hospitals in Darwin and Sydney. Dan enjoys teaching supports his colleagues via CPD events and as a clinical tutor for the Griffith University Post Graduate Oral Surgery program and has held an appointment as a visiting surgeon at New England Oral Surgery since 2024.
