Dr Quintin Wilson is the founder and principal dentist of New England Oral Surgery and New England Oral Surgery. Growing up on a dairy farm in the New England Quintin is passionate about providing care to rural patients and has focused his career on Oral Surgery and Implant dentistry.

A bit more about Dr Quintin Wilson:
  • Quintin graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science from Griffith University in 2008. Quickly realising his clinical interests lay with Oral Surgery, Quintin continued his training undertaking two further clinical post graduate degrees, a Post Graduate Degree in Dental Implantology 2011 and a Master of Oral Surgery in 2020.
  • Since 2011 Quintin has placed thousands of implants and performed countless oral surgery procedures under local and general anaes-thetic in public and private hospitals.
  • Quintin returned to Coffs Harbour in 2016 after completing Military Service with the Australian Army and obtaining his dental qualifica-tions. Quintin accepted appointment as the Clinical Director for Oral Health for the New England Local Health District and provided Oral Surgery and Clinical Leadership for the district until 2020.
  • Starting New England Oral Surgery in 2020 Quintin transitioned into full time private practice and operates Oral Surgery Practice in the region.
  • Quintin is committed to supporting his colleagues through teaching and training and holds an appointment with the University of Queens-land as the senior instructor for the advanced oral surgery clinic. Ad-ditionally, Quintin regularly runs Oral Surgery training courses at the practice and hosts ongoing CPD nights for the local dental communi-ty.
  • Quintin performs surgery weekly at Baringa Private Hospital and Coffs Day Hospital for both implants and complex surgical treat-ments. He holds a public appointment providing Oral Surgery at Tweed Hospital for the Northern NSW Local Heath District.
  • Quintin loves mountain biking, working out in the gym and keeping fit.

A clinical Fellowship with the Australian Implant Academy on Advanced Implantology and Grafting.

2019-2020
Masters of Oral Surgery

A clinical Masters Level degree focused on a delivering a wide range of Oral Surgery procedures, including complex wisdom teeth removal, oral biopsies, cyst removal, oral surgery procedures for orthodontic treatment and managing oral infections.

2012-2013
Post-graduate Diploma in Dental Implants

A post graduate degree focused on providing the surgery for dental implants, including bone grafting, sinus lifts and soft tissue grafts.

A clinically based degree in general dental treatment.
